Great performance at Chichester Festival

After our first festival of the season at Haywards Heath was postponed, we secured a late entry into the Chichester festival.

In past seasons, we have performed really well at this festival, and this year was no exception.

We were placed in a group with Brighton, Bognor, Chichester, Petersfield, and Hove—all strong teams that promised challenging games.

The team started brilliantly, with Catherine and Nathan scoring some fantastic tries. William and George continued their impressive form from last season, making powerful runs through the middle of the pitch and drawing in defenders. Adam and Matt once again demonstrated their ability to zigzag through the defense with their magical footwork, leaving the opposition in their tracks.

Noah was his usual self, covering every blade of grass on the pitch, creating havoc for the opposition’s defense, and delivering crunching tackles when defending.

The players are really starting to gel as a team and have a solid understanding of their roles on the pitch. Our link-up play is improving week by week.

Last year, we welcomed new players Daniel and Michael, and this season, Vidun joined the team. All three have settled in well and are proving to be a nuisance for the opposition.

We are looking forward to our next festival. With it being at home, the players are excited and eager to impress on home soil.
