Disability: disability affecting various lower joints

Shreen was injured on duty in 2017 age 29 which resulted in a long term disability being diagnosed shortly after injury, at the time she did not realise her life would change with her disability affecting various lower joints and her mental health. Prior to this she was an active sports person including extreme sports from the tender age of 3.

During secondary school she won numerous athletics certificates and medals for javelin, and in basketball including a sports council award issued by the mayor of her hometown.

She continued her love for sport by studying sports and exercise science at college and also played for her college basketball team who were hopefuls for the 2012 olympics but unfortunately the team separated.

Shreen played for x3 basketball teams including a well known London basketball team. In her 20s she continued her love for fitness and joined law enforcement.

In February 2020, Shreen contacted Crawley Jets Wheel Chair Rugby Team; she attended free sessions and fell in love with the sport. Shreen has high strength and fitness levels, and strives to go much further with her team.
